Populated by pure strain Llaneros, it is a culture where historically the character and purity of the soul of its people have not allowed the violence of the past to tear away their love for life and the sincere affection of their hearts. Macarena

PROGRAM

Day 1 – We will meet you at Bogota´s airport and then we will travel together to La Macarena and then to the hotel. After enjoying a Llanero lunch, we will have a welcome talk and then we will navigate the Guayabero River to visit one of the most emblematic places of the region; Caño Cristalitos.

Day 2 – We will have breakfast at the hotel and start our way to the Silence Trekking in Caño Cristales. During the walk we will have bird and fauna watching. We will have a picnic lunch and return to the hotel for an afternoon of rest.

Day 3 – We will enjoy a typical breakfast, and then we will navigate through the Guayabero River towards the NNP Caño Cristales and if the weather permits, we will cross a section of the river by boat and then walk the canyon through forests and savannhas until we have reached the Laguna del Silencio. In the evening, we will return to the hotel to enjoy dinner together and rest.We will enjoy a typical breakfast, and then we will navigate through the Guayabero River towards the NNP Caño Cristales and if the weather permits, we will cross a section of the river by boat and then walk the canyon through forests and savannhas until we have reached the Laguna del Silencio. In the evening, we will return to the hotel to enjoy dinner together and rest.

Day 4 – We will share a traditional breakfast and then we will visit Caño Piedra inside the park. There we will have time to appreciate the place and look for flora and fauna of the place. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner in La Macarena.

Day 5 – We will have breakfast at the hotel and then we will go to La Macarena airport, where you will be able to take your flight back.
