BAUTISMOS: Pase a la Oficina Parroquial para fijar la fecha del bautismo por lo menos un mes antes de la fecha que desea. “The bread of life”

When Jesus began teaching the Jews that he himself was the "bread that came down from heaven," they muttered and murmured in complaint. They thought they knew who Jesus was. But Jesus responds by promising them that if they eat the living bread, they will live forever. He will give his flesh for the life of the world. Murmur. If our murmuring were like a soft breeze, it would act as a harmonious basis for the eternal words that become our flesh: I am the living Bread that has come down from heaven. What a surprise that would be, knowing that this eternal Bread is not a stranger, but Jesus, the son of Joseph, a man whose father and mother we know. We eat and we are assumed, because those who eat of this bread will live for ever. This is a bread that is born of the love of the Father. We are invited to listen and learn from Him on the trajectory of attraction, on that peak of faith that allows us to see. Bread with bread, Flesh with flesh. Only He who comes from God has seen the Father. And when we have made of our flesh the table of the living Bread, then we shall have seen the Father. Desert and death, heaven and life.

A sweet marriage fulfilled in every Eucharist… on every altar, on the altar of the heart where the life of the divine Breath consumes the disfigured lineaments of a lost person. In the Eucharist, we experience the truth of Jesus' promise. We receive the living bread and know that we shall live forever.

“El Pan de la vida” Cuando Jesús empezó a enseñar a los judíos que él era "el pan de vida bajado del cielo", ellos empezaron a murmurar y a protestar. Ellos pensaron que Jesús no sabía lo que decía, Pero Jesús responde prometiendo que si comen de ese pan vivo, vivirán para siempre. El dará su carne para la vida del mundo. Murmurar. Si nuestra murmuración fuese como la de un viento ligero haría de acompañamiento armonioso a las palabras eternas que se hacen nuestra carne: Yo soy el Pan vivo bajado del cielo. Qué sorpresa entonces, sabiendo que este Pan eterno no es un extraño, sino Jesús, el hijo de José, un hombre del que conocemos el padre y la madre. Porque el que come de este pan vive para siempre. Un Pan que nace de un amor de Padre. Estamos invitados a escuchar y a aprender para llegar a Él sobre la senda de la atracción, sobre la huella de aquella fe que permite ver. Pan con pan, Carne con carne. Sólo aquel que viene de Dios ha visto al Padre. El hombre lo ha visto cuando ha hecho de su carne el pesebre del Pan vivo. Desierto y muerte, cielo y vida. Un dulce connubio que se cumple en cada Eucaristía...sobre cada altar, aquel altar del corazón en el cual la vida del Soplo divino consuma la arcilla desfigurada del hombre perdido. En la Eucaristía vivimos la verdad de esa promesa de Jesús. Recibimos el pan vivo y sabemos que viviremos para siempre.
