1) Garantizar la controlabilidad de los sistemas.
2) Adecuar el regulador cuadrtico lineal ptimo clsico
para que pueda ser aplicado en lnea.
3) Lograr aplicar el control tipo regulador cuadrtico
lineal ptimo a sistemas no lineales.
4) Garantizar la estabilidad uniforme de los controles
propuestos.

El control ptimo es un conjunto de tcnicas matemticas usadas para determinar el control y las trayectorias de un sistema dinmico que minimizan una funcional de coste sobre un intervalo de tiempo.
Un sistema dinmico es un modelo de la evolucin temporal en el espacio de estados de un sistema fsico y se describe mediante ecuaciones diferenciales o en diferencias.

El control ptimo tiene sus orgenes estrictamente relacionado con la teora del clculo de variaciones desarrollada por Johann Bernoulli en el siglo XVII.
Avances importantes en la teora de control ptimo en el siglo XX fueron el desarrollo de la programacin dinmica por Richard Bellman y la formulacin del principio del mnimo por Lev Pontryagin.

DIRECTOS: Los problemas de CO se discretizan y se
convierten en problemas de programacin matemtica
no lineal.
INDIRECTOS: Se basan en encontrar una solucin
numrica de una condicin necesaria de optimabilidad.
En general se usa la condicin de Euler-Lagrange.

Un importante uso del Control Optimo
es encontrar trayectorias optimas para
sistemas dinmicos en particular para
aviones y naves espaciales.
Otra importante aplicacin es
determinar las formas optimas
aerodinmicas y estructurales.

funcional de costo al moverse entre dos
puntos especficos.

El criterio de optimizacin que aplicamos es un
funcional cuadrtico del estado y la entrada de control.
El control que se obtiene de minimizar este criterio es
lineal. Como el funcional se basa en funcionales
cuadrticos, el mtodo se conoce como lineal-
cuadrtico (LQ: linear-quadratic), del que se obtiene el
regulador lineal cuadrtico (LQR).
