Caminos de Pasión es una ruta turística cultural, que te descubrirá la Semana Santa, el patrimonio histórico-artístico, la gastronomía, las tradiciones, el folclore y la artesanía, del corazón geográfico de Andalucía.

Los ocho municipios que integran esta propuesta son emblemáticos por su riqueza histórica y patrimonial: Alcalá la Real en Jaén; Baena, Cabra, Lucena, Priego de Córdoba y Puente Genil en Córdoba; Carmona y Osuna en Sevilla.

Te proponemos un recorrido por cinco caminos temáticos, que te harán conocer la Andalucía más auténtica de una manera intensa y diferente:

"Caminos de Pasión" is a cultural tourism route which will help you discover the Semana Santa (Easter Week) celebrations, the historic-artistic heritage, the cuisine, the folklore and the craftsmanship of the area lying at the geographical heart of Andalusia (Spain).

The eight towns on the route, emblematic for their rich historic legacy, are: Alcalá la Real in Jaen; Baena, Cabra, Lucena, Priego de Córdoba and Puente Genil in Cordoba; and Carmona and Osuna in Seville.

We propose five thematic itineraries offering a thrilling, unique way of discovering the true Andalusia:

DÍA 1º: AEROPUERTO MÁLAGA-LUCENA

Recogida del coche en el aeropuerto.

Conducir hasta LUCENA (92 km.), en plena comarca de la Subbética, al Sur de la provincia de Córdoba, una dinámica ciudad que brilla con luz propia.

Cena y alojamiento en el hotel seleccionado.

DÍA 2º: LUCENA-CABRA-PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

Despues del desayuno, salimos hacia CABRA (14 km.), ciudad custodiada por sierras y manantiales, oasis en la campiña en una sucesión de huertas y blancos caseríos. Especial interés tiene su Museo Aguilar y Eslava.

Conducimos hasta PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA (27 km.) para contemplar el arte barroco en su máximo esplendor, pasear por el trazado estrecho y sinuoso del barrio musulmán de la Villa y entre el manar de sus fuentes. Después contarán con tiempo libre para degustar su maravillosa gastronomía.

DÍA 3º: PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA-ALCALA LA REALBAENA-PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

Salida hacia ALCALÁ LA REAL (28 km.): enclave con una importante herencia de historia, gastronomía, artesanía y folclore bajo la sobria mirada de su imponente Fortaleza de la Mota.

Continuamos hacia BAENA (50 km.): envuelta por antiguas tradiciones que se mantienen en el tiempo como testigos vivos de la Historia, Arte y Cultura. Una ciudad blanca que se desparrama por un cerro de calles sinuosas y estrechas, entre la campiña y las estribaciones de la Subbética Cordobesa.

Volver a PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA (32 km.).


DÍA 4º: PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA CÓRDOBA-CARMONA:

Salida hacia CÓRDOBA (105 km), recomendamos visitar la Mezquita Catedral: el monumento más esplendoroso de la etapa musulmana en todo Occidente. Su construcción fue iniciada en la época en la que Abd-al-Rahmán constituye a Córdoba como capital de Al-Ándalus, en el año 785. Especial mención merecen sus maravillosos patios, La Sinagoga, Torre de la Calahorra y el Museo de Julio Romero de Torres.

Seguir dirección CARMONA (110 km) donde se podrá descansar o pasear por sus maravillosas calles.

DAY 1: MÁLAGA AIRPORT-LUCENA

Arrival at Malaga Airport and drive to LUCENA (92 Km) the bustling, iconic city of Lucena lies in the Subbetic zone in the southern part of the province of Cordoba.

Dinner and overnight at chosen hotel.

DAY 2: LUCENA-CABRA-PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

After breakfast, drive to CABRA (14 km.) an oasis in a landscape of orchards and whitewashed houses protected by mountain ranges

and sparkling freshwater springs. The Aguilar y Eslava Museum is particularly worth visiting.

We drive to PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA (27 Km.), where we can admire Baroque art in all its splendour and explore the narrow,

winding alleys of La Villa, the old Moorish quarter, with its tinkling fountains. Afterwards there will be free time to sample the marvellous local cuisine.


DAY 3: PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA-ALCALÁ LA REALBAENA-PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

Departure for ALCALÁ LA REAL (28 Km.): a town with a great tradition of history, gastronomy, craftsmanship and folklore in the shadow of the austere, dominating Fortaleza de la Mota.

Departure for BAENA: a town where ancient traditions have been conserved down through the centuries as a living testimony to

History, Art and Culture. This white town cascades down a hill of narrow winding streets, between Seville’s "campiña" and Cordoba’s Subbetic foothills.

Return to PRIEGO DE CÓDOBA.


DAY 4: PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA-CÓRDOBA-CARMONA

Departure to CORDOBA (105 Km.) The mosque-cathedral is the most magnificent monument dating from the Moorish period to be found anywhere

in the Western world. Construction work on it began in 785, when Abd-al-Rahman made Cordoba the capital of Al-Andalus. The

main attractions include the monument’s superb courtyards, the Synagogue, the Torre de la Calahorra (Calahorra Tower) and the Julio Romero de Torres Museum. Free time to stroll in the wonderful Jewish quarter.

The next stop is CARMONA (110 Km.) where you can relax or walk through its beautiful streets.

DÍA 5º: CARMONA-SEVILLA-CARMONA

Visita a la capital de Andalucía: SEVILLA (40 km.). Recomendamos la visita su grandiosa catedral gótica, la tercera más grande del mundo, los reales Alcázares, la Plaza de España, símbolo de la Expo de 1929, panorámica por la zona Expo 92 y tiempo libre para disfrutar del singular barrio de Santa Cruz, jardines de Murillo, parque de Mª Luisa etc.

Regreso a CARMONA.


DÍA 6º: CARMONA-OSUNA-PUENTE GENIL-MÁLAGA

Desayuno y salida hacia MÁLAGA visitando primero la monumental OSUNA (68 km.): villa ducal declarada Conjunto Histórico-Artístico. La esencia de su historia está formada por las herencias que han dejado todas las civilizaciones que se asentaron en el sur de la península.

Salida hacia PUENTE GENIL (42 km.), ciudad con rico patrimonio arqueológico y arquitectura industrial, donde descubriremos las singularidades de la Semana Santa y “los Cuarteles” que definen el arraigo social y las tradiciones de esta fiesta. Conoceremos el proceso de la elaboración del vino en las Bodegas Delgado.

Continuación hacia la capital de la Costa del Sol: MÁLAGA (120 km.). Se recomienda visitar la ciudad comenzando por el Castillo de Gibralfaro, desde donde se podrá divisar las mejores vistas de la bahía. En el centro histórico tendrán la posibilidad de pasear por los lugares picassianos: Plaza de la Merced y casa natal del famoso Pintor, Catedral y tiempo libre para disfrutar de esta bonita ciudad.


DÍA7: MÁLAGA-GRANADA-MÁLAGA

Desayuno y salida hacia GRANADA (135 km.), donde se podrá visitar la Alhambra y sus Jardines del Generalife, el antiguo barrio árabe del Albaicín.

Vuelta a MÁLAGA.


DÍA 8º: SALIDA:Desayuno y tiempo libre. Entrega del coche.Salida.

DAY 5: CARMONA-SEVILLA-CARMONA

Breakfast and tour of Andalusia’s capital city: SEVILLA. We will visit the magnificent Gothic cathedral (the third largest in the world), the Reales Alcázares and the Plaza de España (emblematic location of the 1929 Exposition) and we will take a panoramic tour of the Expo 92 site. There will then be free time to stroll through the Santa Cruz quarter, the Murillo Gardens, the Parque de Mª Luisa, etc.

Return to Return to CARMONA.


DAY 6: CARMONA-OSUNA-PUENTE GENIL-MÁLAGA

Breakfast and departure for MALAGA, stopping at the monumental town of OSUNA (68 Km.), the seat of the Duchy of Osuna and

an officially recognised Historic-Artistic Site. Osuna’s history is essentially an amalgam of the legacies left by all the different civilizations which in their day colonized the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula.

Departure for PUENTE GENIL, a town with a rich heritage of archaeology and industrial architecture. Here we will

discover the unique spectacle of Semana Santa (Easter Week) and the celebrations known as “Los Cuarteles”, which exemplify

its tradition and its deep-rooted social importance. At Bodegas Delgado we will see how wine is made.

We then continue to MALAGA, the capital of the Costa del Sol. Our tour of Malaga starts at Gibralfaro castle, with its stunning views

over the bay. In the city’s historic centre we can see the places associated with Picasso: the Plaza de la Merced and the famous artist’s place of birth. We can also visit the cathedral, and there will be free time to explore this beautiful city.


DAY 7: MÁLAGA-GRANADA-MÁLAGA

Departure to GRANADA (135 km), where you can visit the Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, the old Moorish quarter of

Albaicin.

Back to MALAGA.

DAY 1: MÁLAGA/ARRIVAL-CARMONA

Arrival at MALAGA Airport and departure for CarmonaOvernight in Carmona.

DAY 2: CARMONA

Breakfast. The day will be spent exploring the alluring Sevillian towns of CARMONA. CARMONA stands overlooking the fertile

plains of the province of Seville. A tour of its historic centre, taking in its imposing heritage, provides ample evidence of the different peoples

who have in the past made the city their home. We will learn more of its history as we visit some of the most emblematic historic sites,

including the Roman Necropolis, the Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla (Seville Gate Tower), the Alcázar de Rey Don Pedro (King Peter’s Tower), the Priory of Santa María and the Municipal Museum.

OPTIONAL: We can visit a traditional anise liqueur factory, where we will see how "anís" is made following strictly

traditional procedures.

Overnight in Carmona

DAY 3: CARMONA-SEVILLA

Breakfast and departure from SEVILLE. We will spend the day strolling through the historic centre of Andalusia’s capital and seeing its

marvellous attractions, including the Cathedral, the Giralda, the Reales Alcázares, the Torre del Oro, the Maestranza and the

Plaza de España.

Overnight in Carmona.

DAY 4: CARMONA-OSUNA

Breakfast. Take a stroll through the streets of OSUNA and discover its magnificent monumental heritage. The town, the

seat of the Duchy of the same name, is an officially recognised Historic-Artistic Site. Come relish the colours, smells and sensations

of this city nestling in Seville's lush green "campiña" countryside. You can visit the Collegiate Church, the Monastery of La Encarnación, and the

Archaeological and Municipal Museums.

OPTIONAL: Discover an artistic form of leathercraft steeped in history and tradition: Cordovan.

Desayuno. CARMONA se levanta sobre la fértil vega sevillana. El recorrido por las calles de su casco antiguo, admirando su importante patrimonio, nos da testimonio de los distintos pobladores que en la ciudad habitaron. Profundizaremos en su historia visitando algunos de los lugares históricos más emblemáticos de la localidad, tales como la Necrópolis romana, Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla, Alcázar de Rey Don Pedro, la Prioral de Santa María y el Museo de la ciudad.

OPCIONAL: Visitaremos una tradicional fábrica de anís donde nos mostrarán el proceso de elaboración que sigue realizándose de forma totalmente artesanal.

Alojamiento en Carmona.

DÍA 3º: CARMONA-SEVILLA

Desayuno. De las tres capitales que los islámicos tuvieron en Andalucía, los reyes cristianos eligieron SEVILLA como la suya. Pedro I se hará construir los Reales Alcázares, una de las obras cumbre del arte mudéjar. La imponente Catedral gótica ocupa el solar de la mezquita, dejando en pie sólo el Patio de los Naranjos y el antiguo minarete, la Giralda, desde la que se tiene una vista privilegiada de toda Sevilla.

Un paseo por el centro con sus palacios, iglesias y parques nos lleva a barrios como el de Santa Cruz con los bellos patios sevillanos, las rejas y los balcones.

Alojamiento en Carmona. DÍA 4º: CARMONA-OSUNA

Desayuno. Disfrutaremos del magnífico legado monumental que ofrece pasear por OSUNA, villa ducal declarada Conjunto Histórico-Artístico. Siente el placer de sus colores, aromas y sensaciones, en plena campiña sevillana. Podremos visitar durante nuestro paseo la Colegiata, el Monasterio de la Encarnación, el Museo Arqueológico y el Museo de Osuna.

OPCIONAL: Hoy descubriremos una técnica artesanal y artística de la piel con mucha historia y tradición: el cordobán.

DÍA 5º: OSUNA-PUENTE GENIL-CABRA Y LUCENA

Desayuno. Desde Osuna, haremos una excursión a las cercanas poblaciones de Puente Genil, Cabra y Lucena.

PUENTE GENIL, pequeña ciudad cosmopolita, con un rico patrimonio arqueológico y arquitectura industrial. Aquí han pervivido importantes tradiciones, la mayoría en relación con la Semana Santa. La singularidad de esta fiesta la conoceremos a través de la visita a uno de sus "Cuarteles".

OPCIONAL: Visitaremos Bodegas Delgado, que conserva las instalaciones originales en pleno casco histórico. Degustaremos los distintos caldos que bajo la D.O. Montilla-Moriles se crían en esta bodega.

Continuación hacia CABRA, a los pies de la montaña y rodeada de fértiles huertas. El barroco dejó su preciosismo en las calles, casas y monumentos de la ciudad, creando un conjunto armonioso y señorial. Recorreremos los lugares más significativos de esta localidad destacando la Iglesia de la Asunción y los Ángeles, así como los lugares vinculados a la vida y obra de Juan Valera y su obra ‘Pepita Jiménez’. El Museo Aguilar y Eslava es imprescindible en la visita.

Continuaremos nuestra visita en LUCENA, una ciudad que brilla con luz propia. Saber convivir define y ha definido a esta como “Ciudad de las tres Culturas”, reconocida como la “Perla de Sefarad”, o la cuna del bandolerismo romántico.

OPCIONAL: Visita a un alfar de cerámica

Regreso y alojamiento en Osuna.

DÍA 6º: PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA-BAENAALCALÁ LA REAL

Desayuno. Hoy descubriremos la cultura del aceite.

En PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA te invitamos a disfrutar con todos los sentidos de esta tierra, a caminar por rincones con numerosos monumentos emblemáticos. Contemplaremos el arte barroco en su máximo esplendor, paseando junto al Castillo, por el trazado estrecho y sinuoso del barrio musulmán de la Villa.

Salida hacia BAENA, ciudad de importante pasado que aún hoy se refleja en su presente. Antiguas tradiciones que se mantienen en el tiempo como testigos vivos de la Historia, Arte y Cultura que en Baena nos envuelven.

OPCIONAL: Visita al Museo de Aceite

OPCIONAL: Visita a una almazara ecológica con D.O. Baena, la más antigua de España, cuyos aceites nos darán muestra del renombre de su denominación.

Salida hacia ALCALÁ LA REAL, enclave excepcional con la herencia de su larga historia, gastronomía, artesanía y folclore. Visitaremos la Fortaleza de la Mota, monumento emblemático de la ciudad, continuando con el Museo del Palacio Abacial. También visitaremos la Casa Museo de la Hilandera.

OPCIONAL: Finalizaremos con la visita al lagar de los vinos, que nos dará a conocer la importancia de la elaboración del vino "del terreno" en Alcalá la Real, y de la variedad y calidad de sus productos locales.

Regreso y alojamiento en Osuna.

DÍA 7º: OSUNA-MÁLAGA /SALIDA

Desayuno. Traslado al Aeropuerto de Málaga.Vuelo de regreso.

DAY 5: PUENTE GENIL-CABRA-LUCENA

Breakfast. From Osuna we will visit the nearby towns of Puente Genil, Cabra and Lucena.

PUENTE GENIL is a small, cosmopolitan town with a rich heritage of archaeological treasures and industrial architecture. Many important traditions have survived here, most of them associated with "Semana Santa" (Easter Week).

A visit to one of the “Cuarteles” (religious brotherhood headquarters) will help us to appreciate the uniqueness of the

Easter celebrations here.

OPTIONAL: We will visit Bodegas Delgado, a wine company which still occupies its original premises in the historic town centre, and taste the

different D.O. Montilla-Moriles wines produced there.

We then head for CABRA, a town lying at the foot of a mountain surrounded by fertile orchards. The city’s streets, houses and monuments reflect the Baroque eye for detail, producing an ensemble of stately harmony, We will tour the town’s main attractions, including the Church of La Asunción y los Ángeles and the sites associated with the life and work of the writer Juan Valera, and his famous creation “Pepita Jiménez”. Also,

the Aguilar y Eslava Museum is not to be missed.

The next stop is the bustling, iconic city of LUCENA. This “City of Three Cultures”, known as the “Pearl of Sepharad”, is and always

has been renowned as a paragon of peaceful coexistence. It is also the cradle of Andalusia’s famous brand of romantic banditry known as

"bandolerismo".

Return and overnight in Osuna.

DAY 6: PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA-BAENAALCALÁ LA REAL

fountains: Fuente del Rey and Fuente de la Salud. The “journey through aromas” olive oil tasting session. A master taster will

help us discover the sensations produced by different types of olive oil. The tasting is done using specially designed glasses, and a

DAY 3: CABRA-BAENACABRA lies at the geographical centre of Andalusia on the edge of the Sierras Subbéticas mountain ranges. Free time to visit the historic town centre, the La Villa quarter and then the Church of La Asunción y Ángeles, the El Cerro quarter

and the Aguilar y Eslava Museum.Departure for BAENA, the city of olives groves and olive oil.

Free time to explore the narrow, winding streets of the Almedina (the historic centre) and to see the Plaza del Coso, the castle complex,

the History Museum and the Churches. Visit to the Museo del Aceite y del Olivar (Museum of Olive Oil and Olive Cultivation), located in an

old, recently restored oil mill, to learn how olive oil is extracted using traditional procedures.

DAY 4: ALCALÁ LA REALALCALÁ LA REAL welcomes us with its impressive Historic-Artistic castle complex, the Fortaleza de la Mota.

Free time to go for a walk and see the principal monuments: the Fortaleza de la Mota, the Palacio Abacial (Abbey Palace),

the Palacete de la Hilandera (The Spinner-woman’s Palace), etc. Visit to a wine press in an 18th century house in the historic town

centre, where the typical local wine is still produced using totally traditional methods. We will see how the wines are made and taste three types (dry, semi-sweet and sweet) in the hundred year old bodega, accompanied by local products. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon a workshop will be held on the premises of a company which uses traditional olive oil based methods to manufacture cosmetics.

CABRA está considerada el centro geográfico de Andalucía y abre las puertas a las Sierras Subbéticas. Tiempo libre para recorrer el centro histórico de la ciudad, el Barrio de la Villa continuando con la Iglesia de la Asunción y Ángeles, el barrio del Cerro y el Museo Aguilar y Eslava.

Salida hacia BAENA ciudad del olivar y el aceite. Tiempo libre para conocer la Almedina, la Plaza del Coso, el entorno del Castillo, el Museo Histórico, sus iglesias y el monumento a los olivareros y olivareras. DÍA 4º: ALCALÁ LA REAL

ALCALÁ LA REAL nos recibe con su impresionante conjunto histórico-artístico: La Fortaleza de la Mota. Tiempo libre para visitar sus monumentos más significativos: la Fortaleza, el Palacio Abacial, el Palacete de la Hilandera, etc. Visita al lagar de los vinos, ubicado en una casa del siglo XVIII y donde se sigue elaborando el típico vino del "terreno" de una forma totalmente artesanal, donde degustaremos tres tipos (seco, semidulce y dulce) acompañados de productos de la tierra alcalaina. Tiempo libre para el almuerzo. Por la tarde realizaremos un taller en las instalaciones de una empresa de cosméticos artesanales donde el aceite de oliva es la base para la elaboración de sus productos.

DAY 1: LUCENA

LUCENA is the most populated town in the province of Cordoba. Its long history is marked by the presence of a large Jewish population, so much so that it is known as the “Pearl of Sepharad”. We will first tour the town, stopping at

the Museo Arqueológico y Etnológico (Archaeology and Ethnology Museum) in the Castillo del Moral to chart Lucena’s

historical evolution. We will also visit the Parish Church of San Mateo, a Gothic-Renaissance building housing one of the most

outstanding Baroque creations in Andalusia: the Capilla del Sagrario (Chapel of the Sanctuary). Then we will go to a pottery to see how

different ceramic products are crafted.

Free time for lunch.

In the afternoon we will drive some 6 Km. out of Lucena to visit the Chapel of La Virgen de Araceli, the patron saint of Lucena and of the fields of Andalusia. The chapel is in the Sierra de Aras, and from here we can enjoy some spectacular

views. Inside, the "camarín", or cabinet housing the image of the Virgin, is one of the most splendid to be found in the

province of Cordoba.

DAY 2: PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA is one of Andalusia’s most beautiful towns. You will certainly feel a thrill as you wander through the quarter known as “La Villa”, and tasting the olive oil made here is an unforgettable experience. Our tour of the town will take in the Museo Histórico Municipal (Municipal History Museum), the Town Hall in the Plaza de la Constitución, one of Priego’s famous Baroque churches, the

Carnicerías Reales (an old 17th century abattoir and market), the La Villa quarter, the Balcón del Adarve observation balcony

and Calle Río, finally coming out at the famous fountains: Fuente del Rey and Fuente de la Salud.

DÍA 1º: LUCENA

LUCENA es la localidad más poblada de Córdoba. Cuenta con una historia muy arraigada y marcada por su pasado judío Lucena, conocida como la Perla del Sefarad. El recorrido que proponemos es: Visita a una Alfarería con demostración del trabajo que se realiza en la elaboración de distintos enseres.

Tiempo libre para visitar la ciudad, recomendamos el Museo Arqueológico y Etnológico, situado en el Castillo del Moral, donde se hace un recorrido por la evolución histórica de la ciudad. La Parroquia de San Mateo, templo gótico-renacentista iniciado en 1498 donde destaca el Sagrario, una de las máximas creaciones del barroco en Andalucía.

Tiempo libre para almorzar.

Por la tarde, visita al Santuario de la Virgen de Araceli, patrona de Lucena y del campo andaluz. Situado en la Sierra de Aras a unos 6 kms de Lucena podremos disfrutar de unas hermosas vistas. En el interior del santuario destacamos el camarín que alberga la imagen de la virgen que es de los más grandiosos de la provincia de Córdoba.

Tras el desayuno, salida hacia hacia PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA, uno de los pueblos más hermosos de Andalucía. Adentrarse en su Barrio de la Villa, sin duda, te sorprenderá y degustar los aceites de oliva que aquí se elaboran serán toda una experiencia.

Realizaremos la Cata “un viaje por los aromas”. De la mano del maestro de cata descubriremos las sensaciones de los distintos tipos de aceites que nos mostrará. La cata se realiza en copas especiales para este fin y se facilita una hoja de perfil para anotar todos los atributos del producto.

DAY 3: ALCALÁ LA REAL-BAENAALCALÁ LA REAL, an officially declared Historic-Artistic Site,

welcomes us with its impressive fortress. The castle, watching over the population from the hill called El Cerro de la Mota,

is an incomparably beautiful sight. We then head into the town itself, passing its most emblematic spots on the way. We will visit the History Museum at the Palacio Abacial (Abbey Palace), the Church of Las Angustias and the Church of La Consolación. We will then go to a wine press in an

18th century house in the historic town centre, where the typical local wine is still produced using totally traditional

procedures. We will see how the wines are made and then taste three types (dry, semi-sweet and sweet) in the hundred year old

bodega, accompanied by local products. Free time for lunch.

We propose a visit to a quince jelly factory: we can watch the jam being made and try some samples of this intriguing product. A

visit to the town’s most emblematic bodega where, after touring the facilities, we can sample some of its wines.

DAY 5: OSUNA-CARMONA

An officially recognised Historic-Artistic Site, OSUNA is a town rich in history and tradition thanks to the legacy of its

Turdetani, Roman, Muslim and Christian past. Free time to visit the Renaissance style Collegiate Church, the Monastery

of La Encarnación with its Museum of Sacred Art, the Archaeology Museum and the Osuna Municipal Museum.

DAY 6: CARMONA

Breakfast and then free time for sightseeing in the town.


Guided tour of an anise liqueur factory to see the whole distilling process. On the same estate, on the outskirts of the

city, you can also see some Roman baths and an Arab mill.

ALCALÁ LA REAL declarada Conjunto Histórico-Artístico nos recibe con la impresionante Fortaleza de la Mota. Tiempo libre para pasear y visitar sus monumentos más significativos: la Fortaleza de la Mota, el Palacio Abacial, el Palacete de la Hilandera, etc…

Visita al lagar de los vinos, ubicado en una casa del siglo XVIII del casco antiguo, sigue manteniendo viva la tradición elaborando el típico vino del “Terreno” de una forma totalmente artesanal. Tendremos la oportunidad de conocer el proceso de elaboración y de degustar tres tipos (seco, semidulce y dulce) en su centenaria bodega, acompañados de productos de la tierra Alcalaína.

Salida hacia PUENTE GENIL mundialmente conocida por el dulce de membrillo. Además encontramos un gran patrimonio cultural y gastronómico destacando sus vinos de la D.O. Montilla Moriles.

Os proponemos la visita a una fábrica de carne de membrillo, para conocer el proceso de elaboración y degustar este producto lleno de matices. Visita a la Bodega más emblemática de la ciudad donde, tras un recorrido por sus instalaciones degustaremos una muestra de sus caldos.

DÍA 5º: OSUNA-CARMONA

Declarada Conjunto Histórico Artístico, OSUNA es una ciudad rica en historia y tradición, gracias al legado de los turdetanos, romanos, musulmanes y cristianos. Tiempo libre para visitar la Iglesia Colegial, de estilo renacentista, el Monasterio de la Encarnación, sede del Museo de Arte Sacro, el Museo Arqueológico o el Museo de Osuna.

Tras el desayuno, tiempo libre para visitar la ciudad de CARMONA y tiempo libre para el almuerzo.

DAY 1: OSUNA

Arrival in the town and welcome from our host at the hotel reception, where we will be given information about the city.

The guided tour can start at whatever time you choose. We will show you the most interesting parts of the town, the Villa

Antigua (old town), the University and the Colegiata (Collegiate Church) in the place known as "Los Cipreses" (the cypress trees). From

there we can see the quarries which produced the stone for all the buildings in Osuna. We will go inside the Convent of La Encarnación, which houses

the Museo de Cerámica Sevilla Barroca (Baroque Seville Ceramics Museum), and we will walk down Calle Sevilla and Calle San

Pablo.

Walking down the Cuesta de los Abades we come to the façade of the Monastery of Los Padres Mercedarios de Santo Domingo, and in Calle Pedro and Calle Sevilla we will see more facades of Osuna’s historic houses and palaces.

DAY 2: PUENTE GENIL

Guided tour of the town of PUENTE GENIL, with its rich archaeological heritage and industrial architecture. Discover

the uniqueness of Holy Week here and visit the “Cuarteles” (religious brotherhood headquarters) which reflect the social roots and traditions of the Easter celebrations.

DAY 3: ALCALÁ LA REAL-PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

Breakfast and departure for ALCALA LA REAL. Visit to the Fortaleza de la Mota (with audio guide and map) and then

transfer to Priego de Córdoba.

DÍA 1º: OSUNA

Llegada a la ciudad de OSUNA y encuentro con nuestro anfitrión en la recepción del hotel, donde le daremos la bienvenida y haremos entrega de la información de nuestra ciudad.

A la hora que desee comenzamos la visita guiada donde mostraremos lo más singular de la ciudad, subiremos por la Villa Antigua, campo de los Cipreses donde esta la Universidad y la Colegiata. Desde ese lugar contemplaremos las canteras donde se extraía la piedra para construir todos los edificios de Osuna, visitaremos el interior del Convento de la Encarnación, que contiene un Museo de Cerámica Sevilla Barroca y recorreremos las calles Sevilla y San Pedro. Al final de la Cuesta de los Abades, ya en la plaza de la Encarnación, nos encontraremos con la fachada del Convento de la Encarnación.

Visita guiada a la ciudad de PUENTE GENIL que tiene un rico patrimonio arqueológico y arquitectura industrial, donde descubriremos las singularidades de la Semana Santa con sus “Cuarteles” que definen el arraigo social y las tradiciones de esta fiesta.

DÍA 3º: ALCALÁ LA REAL-PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

Desayuno y salida hacia ALCALÁ LA REAL, visita a la Fortaleza de la Mota (con audio-guía y plano) y continuación hacia Priego de Córdoba.

Visita guiada a PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA, la Ciudad de barroco: La Plaza de La Constitución, la iglesia de Ntra. Señora de la Asunción en la que destaca su afamado sagrario, declarado Monumento Nacional y el Barrio de la Villa.

DAY 1: CARMONA


The guided tour takes us to the Roman Necropolis, an impressive archaeological complex located on a hill near

the main road to Seville, with the highlights being the Elephant Tomb and the Tomb of Servilia. In the city centre we will visit the

Puerta de Sevilla, a majestic monument which is Spain’s most valuable example of a Roman gate. We will then discover the city’s important artistic

heritage in the local museum, before ending with a visit to the Church of Santa María, the former Almohad mosque.

The guided tour can start at whatever time you choose. We will show you the most interesting parts of the town, the Villa

Antigua (old town), the University and the Colegiata (Collegiate Church) in the place known as "Los Cipreses" (the cypress trees). From

there we can see the quarries which produced the stone for all the buildings in Osuna. We will go inside the Convent of La Encarnación, which

houses the Museo de Cerámica Sevilla Barroca (Baroque Seville Ceramics Museum), and we will walk down Calle Sevilla and

Calle San Pablo.

DAY 3: PUENTE GENIL

Arrival and meeting with our host before starting the tour of the town with a visit to a quince jelly factory. Puente Genil is

known all over the world as a producer of this delicacy. We will see how this mouth-watering product is manufactured, and then

move on to visit the Church of El Carmen, a fine example of Andalusian baroque. The tour ends with a 30 minute walk to the Laguna de Tiscar,

a wetland area with olive trees.

A la hora que se desee comenzamos la visita guiada. Te mostraremos lo más singular de la ciudad, subiremos por la Villa Antigua, campo de los Cipreses donde esta la Universidad y la Colegiata. Desde ese lugar contemplaremos las canteras donde se extraía la piedra para construir todos los edificios de Osuna visitaremos el interior del Convento de la Encarnación, que contiene un Museo de Cerámica Sevilla Barroca y recorremos las calles Sevilla y San Pablo.


DÍA 3º: PUENTE GENIL

Llegada y encuentro con nuestro anfitrión para comenzar la visita a la ciudad por una fabrica de membrillo, ya que nuestra ciudad es conocida por la fabricación de la carne de membrillo a nivel Internacional. Conoceremos el proceso de elaboración de este manjar para los sentidos. A continuación, visitaremos al Iglesia del Carmen, ejemplo del barroco andaluz para finalizar con un paseo de 30 minutos hasta la Laguna de Tiscar, un paisaje en humedales y olivos.

Paseará por el barrio de la Villa, disfrutará del paisaje en el mirador del Parque y podrá visitar varias iglesias barrocas.

Priego de Córdoba, the cradle of the Andalusian Baroque and a leading olive production centre, has many sights and attractions. The visitor will soon discover the richness and beauty of this wonderful town.

You will have the chance to stroll through the town centre, enjoy the scenery from the Park balcony and visit several

baroque churches.

The most original attraction is THE MUSHROOM GARDEN. It is divided into eight areas with recreations of Andalusia’s most representative

ecosystems, including pine groves, cork oak groves, oaks and gall oaks, grassland, riparian woodland and Spanish fir groves. The

centre also has a wide variety of naturally growing fungi, including the major mushrooms and truffles associated with those ecosystems so typical of Mediterranean woodland: pheasant, morel, gurumelo, milk caps, russula, Caesar’s mushroom and boletus. After a walk in these beautiful sprawling grounds, there will still be time to visit the Andalusian

Mycology Centre before leaving the garden.

Comienzo con la visita por las calles del pueblo de OSUNA, comenzaremos por un recorrido por sus calles, el Museo de Osuna, así como la Iglesia de San Agustín, Victoria, Consolación y Padres Carmelitas, estas tres iglesias edificios del siglo XVI Y XVII, cobijan en su interior el 100% de las Cofradías de Gloria y Penitencia que pasearán por las Calles de Osuna en su Semana santa.

Iniciamos la jornada en la localidad de LUCENA donde podremos conocer el Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Araceli, descubrir el retablo renacentista así como el Sagrario Barroco de la Parroquia de San Mateo o poder ver el Castillo del Moral donde en su día estuvo apresado Boabdil. Continuaremos visitando el Museo Arqueológico y Etnológico de Lucena así como la Parroquia de Santiago.

Una vez terminada la visita y tras el almuerzo proseguimos nuestra ruta hacia la población de PUENTE GENIL, donde conoceremos el puente que dio lugar a su nombre así como la fábrica del dulce de membrillo típico de esta localidad entre otras peculiaridades de la misma.

Terminamos con el regreso al hotel y alojamiento.

brotherhoods during the Easter celebrations.

DAY 3: LUCENA-PUENTE GENIL

The day starts in the town of LUCENA, where we will visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Araceli, discover the Renaissance

altarpiece and the Baroque tabernacle in the Parish Church of San Mateo and see the Castillo del Moral, the fortress where Boabdil was held prisoner. We will then visit Lucena Archaeology and Ethnology Museum and the Parish Church of Santiago.

After the visit and after lunch we continue our journey to the town of PUENTE GENIL, where we will see the bridge after

which the town is named and visit a quince jelly factory, an example of one of Lucena’s most typical activities.

The day ends back at the hotel. Overnight in Puente Genil.

DÍA 4º: CABRA-PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

Damos comienzo a la ruta de hoy en el pueblo de CABRA, lugar con gran tradición en Semana Santa, donde a medida que visitamos sus calles e iglesias podemos ver la imaginería que será procesionada por sus calles en esta semana de culto, como son la Virgen de la Sierra, Jesús del Lavatorio y la Borriquilla entre otras muchas imágenes.

Ya por la tarde y tras el almuerzo, continuamos hacia PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA cuna del barroco andaluz por excelencia que podremos admirar en la Iglesia de Ntra. Sra. de la Asunción, Mercedes o la Iglesia de San Francisco.

Regreso al hotel. Alojamiento.

DÍA 5º: ALCALÁ LA REAL-BAENA

Llegamos en nuestra última jornada en la ciudad de ALCALÁ LA REAL, ciudad de gran riqueza patrimonial y cultural donde tras realizar una visita por sus calles y el museo de San Juan, conoceremos su imponente Fortaleza de la Mota.

Almuerzo libre y por la tarde nos trasladamos al la población de BAENA cuya Semana Santa está declarada de Interés Turístico Cultural, donde tras pasear por la ciudad, tendremos la opción de visitar, el taller de tambores artesanos que dan sonido a la semana santa de Coliblancos y Colinegros en Baena.

DAY 4: CABRA-PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

Today's trip starts in CABRA, a town with a great tradition of Easter celebrations. As we walk through its streets and visit its churches we will see the religious imagery that is paraded in the Semana Santa processions, including images of La Virgin de la Sierra, Jesus del Lavatorio and La Borriquilla.

In the afternoon, after lunch, we continue to PRIEGO DE CORDOBA, cradle of the magnificent Andalusian Baroque

that can be admired in the churches of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, Mercedes and San Francisco.

Return to the hotel. Overnight in Priego de Cordoba.

DAY 5: ALCALÁ LA REAL-BAENA

On the last day we come to ALCALA LA REAL, a town with a rich heritage of architecture and culture. After exploring its streets and taking in the Museum of San Juan, we will visit the impressive castle complex called the Fortaleza de la Mota.

Free time for lunch. In the afternoon we transfer to the town of BAENA. The Easter celebrations here have been officially

declared an event of National Tourist Interest. After a walk through the town you will have the chance to visit the traditional

workshop where craftsmen make the drums that are used in Baena’s famous "coliblanco" and "colinegro" (white/black tail) processions at Easter.

Breakfast. Today we will discover the wines and olive oils of the "Caminos de Pasión".

Departure for ALCALÁ LA REAL. The first thing the visitor to this strategically located town sees is the Forteleza de la Mota, the monumental fortress

which dominates the surroundings. After visiting the fortress we head for the Palacio Abacial (the Abbey Palace).

OPTIONAL: The tour can end with a visit to a wine press, to discover the importance attached to the production of "vino del terreno" (wine of the land) in ALCALÁ LA REAL and to the variety and quality of local products.In PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA we can stroll through the maze

of flower bedecked streets which makes up the medieval quarter of La Villa. We will explore the many churches that make this the

cradle of Cordovan Baroque architecture, ending our tour at the town's emblematic fountains, the Fuente del Rey (King’s Fountain) and

D.O. Baena designation of origin, the oldest in Spain. The prestige of this label is borne out by the quality of the oil produced.

The next stop is CABRA, the gateway to the "Parque Natural de las Sierras Subbéticas" (Sierras Subbéticas Nature Park). Apart from admiring

its Baroque monuments, we can stroll through the streets and gardens and explore the places associated with the writer Juan

Valera, who was born here. We will also visit the Aguilar y Esclava Natural History Museum, with its remarkable history, building and furniture.The day’s tour will end in LUCENA, the “City of Three Cultures” in the heart of the Subbética region in the southern

part of the province of Cordoba. We will visit the Parish Church of San Mateo, the Sanctuary of which is an outstanding

example of Spanish Baroque art, and the Castillo del Moral, housing the Museo Histórico Municipal (Municipal History Museum).

Salida hacia ALCALÁ LA REAL, situada en un enclave estratégico, recibe al viajero la Fortaleza de la Mota, importante monumento que preside la ciudad. Una vez conocida esta fortaleza nos dirigiremos hacia el Palacio Abacial.

OPCIONAL: Finalizaremos con la visita al lagar de los vinos, que nos dará a conocer la importancia de la elaboración del vino "del terreno" en Alcalá la Real, y de la variedad y calidad de sus productos locales

En PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA podremos pasear por el laberinto de callejas cargadas de flores del barrio medieval de la Villa. Conoceremos la cuna del barroco cordobés en sus múltiples iglesias para terminar en la Fuente del Rey y la Fuente de la Salud, emblemáticas en la ciudad.

OPCIONAL: Visitaremos una almazara de aceite, ya que estamos en una tierra vinculada al aceite de oliva y con D.O. Priego de Córdoba.

Desayuno. Visitaremos BAENA, una ciudad histórica vinculada con el aceite de oliva.

OPCIONAL: Visita al Museo de Aceite.OPCIONAL: Visita a una almazara ecológica con D.O. Baena, la más antigua de España, cuyos aceites nos darán muestra del renombre de su denominación.

Continuación hacia CABRA, puerta de entrada al Parque Natural de las Sierras Subbéticas. Además de admirar la monumentalidad barroca, podremos pasear por sus calles y jardines, conocer los lugares vinculados al escritor Juan Valera, oriundo de la ciudad, o descubrir el Museo de Historia Natural "Aguilar y Eslava", del que nos sorprenderá su historia, el edificio y el mobiliario.

Completaremos la ruta de de hoy en plena comarca de la Subbética, al sur de la provincia de Córdoba, donde se extiende "La Ciudad de las Tres Culturas", LUCENA, visitando la Parroquia de San Mateo, cuyo Sagrario es una de las muestra más importantes del barroco español, el Castillo del Moral, donde se ubica el Museo Histórico Municipal, así como un paseo por lo que fue la antigua judería.

Desayuno. Tras el desayuno saldremos hacia PUENTE GENIL, donde el sol se hace dulce y la luz arte. En el Suroeste de la provincia de Córdoba se alza esta pequeña ciudad cosmopolita con un rico patrimonio arqueológico y arquitectura industrial, donde han pervivido con el paso del tiempo importantes tradiciones, como su Semana Santa o sus tradiciones de Cuaresma. Proponemos descubrir las singularidades de la Semana Santa a través de la visita a uno de sus ‘Cuarteles’ de Semana Santa, desde donde podremos conocer la dimensión social de esta fiesta, así como todas las tradiciones y rituales que la rodean, la importancia de la Cuaresma o los motivos que hacen que la Semana Santa de Puente Genil sea Fiesta de interés turístico Nacional.

OPCIONAL: Visitaremos Bodegas Delgado, que se convierte en una cita casi obligada en Puente Genil por la solera de sus instalaciones originales que se conservan en pleno casco histórico. Conoceremos y degustaremos los distintos caldos que bajo la D.O. Montilla-Moriles se crían en esta bodega.

DÍA 5º: CARMONA

Desayuno. CARMONA, atalaya de todos los tiempos sobre la fértil vega sevillana, encrucijada de caminos y civilizaciones. El recorrido por las calles de su casco antiguo, admirando su importante patrimonio, nos da testimonio de los distintos pobladores que en la ciudad habitaron. Carmona fue uno de los núcleos más importantes de la Bética romana. Esta villa ha sabido cuidar y conservar su legado, arte y patrimonio, que hoy quiere compartir con el viajero. Profundizaremos en su historia visitando y recorriendo algunos de los lugares históricos más emblemáticos de la localidad, tales como la Necrópolis romana, Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla, Alcázar de Rey Don Pedro, la Prioral de Santa María y el Museo de la ciudad.

OPCIONAL: Visitaremos una tradicional fábrica de anís donde nos mostrarán el proceso de elaboración que sigue realizándose de forma totalmente artesanal.

Desayuno. Salida hacia OSUNA, donde disfrutaremos del magnífico legado monumental que ofrece pasear por esta villa ducal declarada Conjunto Histórico-Artístico. Su historia está formada por las herencias que han dejado todas las civilizaciones que se asentaron en el Sur de la Península. Siente el placer de sus colores, aromas y sensaciones, en plena campiña sevillana. Podremos visitar durante nuestro paseo la Colegiata, el Monasterio de la Encarnación, el Museo Arqueológico y el Museo de Osuna.

OPCIONAL: Hoy descubriremos una técnica artesanal y artística de la piel con mucha historia y tradición, el cordobán.

To gain some insight into what the Semana Santa means to the locals, we will visit one of the "Casa Cuarteles" (headquarters of religious brotherhoods) where the members will describe some of the Easter rituals.

OPTIONAL: A visit to Bodegas Delgado, to learn about and sample the different D.O. Montilla-Moriles wines produced

there.

Return and overnight in Carmona.

DAY 5: CARMONA

Breakfast. In the afternoon we can explore the charming Sevillian town of CARMONA, gasping at its remarkable heritage as we walk through its streets. We will learn more of its history as we visit some of its most emblematic sites, including the Roman Necropolis, the Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla (Seville Gate Tower), the Alcázar de Rey Don Pedro (King Peter’s Tower), the Priory of Santa María and the Municipal

Museum.

OPTIONAL: We can visit a traditional anise liqueur factory, where we will see how the "anis" is made following strictly traditional

procedures.


DAY 6: CARMONA-OSUNA

Breakfast. Departure for OSUNA, the seat of the Duchy of Osuna and an officially recognised Historic-Artistic Site. We will take an enjoyable stroll through the typical streets of a large town lying in the midst of Seville's fertile crop fields, admiring the magnificent Renaissance and Baroque palaces

to be seen all around us. We will visit the Collegiate Church (Colegiata), the Monastery of La Encarnación, and the

Archaeological and Municipal Museums.

OPTIONAL: Discover an artistic form of leathercraft steeped in history and tradition: Cordovan.

ALCALÁ LA REAL

2 DAYS/1 NIGHTS

Alcalá la Real, a beautiful town in a historic frontier land, sprawling at the feet of the impressive Fortaleza de la Mota castle complex.

This break gives you the opportunity to try one of the most traditional of local products: "vino del terreno" (literally, “wine of the land”). We will

visit vineyards and a bodega in the El Cascante nature site, and taste 3 different types of wine made there. We will also try a

range of typical local aperitifs including cheeses made with goats’ and sheep’s milk. The visit ends at the Casa-Museo “La Hilandera” (the “Spinner-Woman” Museum), a typical early 19th century building that is now open to the public.

After breakfast on the second day we recommend visits to emblematic spots such as the Fortaleza de la Mota, the

History Museum of the Palacio Abacial (Abbey Palace), the Church of Las Angustias and the Church of La Consolación.

CABRA-BAENA

2 DAYS/1 NIGHT

CABRA nestles in an area of great geological interest in the Parque Natural de las Sierras Subbéticas Cordobesas (Sierras Subbéticas Nature Park). Our visit will last for approximately four hours, and will take in all of the town’s most important sights: the Chapel of La Virgen de la Sierra, the Fuente del Río (River Fountain), the Olive Oil Museum, the Archaeology Museum, the Fuente de las Piedras (Stone Fountain), the

Barrio de la Villa and the Olive Oil Train.

After breakfast on the second day we leave for BAENA, where you will have the chance to explore the thousand year old olive

culture at the Olive Oil Museum. Here, in addition to information, you will also find hands on activities and suggestions for healthy eating habits.

CARMONA

2 DAYS/1 NIGHT

A magnificent town where every nook and cranny bears witness to a glorious past, CARMONA’s abundant heritage of religious, civil and military architecture makes it one of

the most monumental places in Andalusia. On this break we invite you to explore some of the town’s most emblematic

places, including the Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla (Seville Gate Tower), and visit a traditional anise liqueur factory to sample

the anis produced there.

After breakfast on the second day, a visit to the impressive archaeological complex of the Roman Necropolis is a must.

Finalizaremos con una visita a la Casa-Museo Palacete La Hilandera, edificio que se ha abierto al público a modo de Museo, para dar a conocer cómo era una vivienda de esa época.

CABRA está enclavada en una zona de gran valor geológico dentro del Parque Natural de las Sierras Subbéticas Cordobesas. Realizaremos un circuito de unas cuatro horas aproximadamente visitando los puntos más importantes y de interés turístico de nuestra localidad: la ermita Virgen de la Sierra, fuente del Río, el museo del aceite, el arqueológico, fuente de las piedras, el Barrio de la Villa y el tren del aceite.

Al día siguiente, desayuno y salida hacia BAENA donde conoceréis la cultura del olivar visitando su museo, consiguiendo profundizar en la trama de esta milenaria cultura, combinando el intercambio de conocimiento, con el desarrollo de actividades y la proposición de prácticas saludables.

Una ciudad de espléndido pasado que deja huella en cada uno de sus rincones. Su abundante patrimonio con arquitectura religiosa, civil y militar hacen de CARMONA una de las ciudades más monumentales de Andalucía. En esta escapada te proponemos, además de conocer los lugares históricos y más emblemáticos como el Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla, la Iglesia de Santa María..., conocer una tradicional fábrica de anís y licores con degustación incluida.

LUCENA, the City of the Three Cultures, also known as the “Pearl of Sepharad”. On this break, visit a working oil mill and discover how olive oil, the “liquid gold” so important to this region, is produced. And then pamper your senses with a professional extra virgin olive oil tasting session. We

will also visit one of the town’s most prestigious potteries, where the art of ceramics production has been of vital

importance since times immemorial and continues to be one of the principal activities in the area.

On the second day we recommend a visit to the Chapel of the Virgin of Araceli, the patron saint both of Lucena itself and of Andalusia’s

countryside in general. The chapel, just 6 km. from Lucena, commands some beautiful scenic views.

OSUNA

2 DAYS/1 NIGHT

The town of OSUNA rises up impressively out of Seville’s lush "campiña" landscape. The town is the seat of the Duchy

of Osuna, and a stroll through its streets will reveal the immense historical and cultural legacy which makes this one of the towns

with the richest heritage anywhere in Andalusia. This short break includes a visit to the celebrated Collegiate Church and a tasting dinner

in which you will be able to gauge the variety and quality of the local cuisine.

The next day, breakfast will be followed by a free morning in which to continue exploring the town. Wander through its winding

streets and pay a leisurely visit to its villas and palaces.

PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

2 DAYS/1 NIGHT

PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA is known as the “city of water” for the numerous natural springs which surround it, and also as

“the Jewel of Cordovan Baroque” for the number of baroque buildings it possesses. We invite you to take a guided tour of the

old historic quarter and discover the town’s beauty through its streets, squares, churches, walls, fountains and in its medieval area. The visit ends

with a tasting session of typical local products.

After breakfast the next day there is a visit to an olive grove and an olive oil mill, with a tasting session of extra virgin olive oil protected by one of Spain’s leading D.O.s.

PUENTE GENIL

PUENTE GENIL, a town in the province of Cordoba, lies in the fertile agricultural belt known as the Campiña Sur Cordobesa.

Well known for its red wines, the entire surrounding area is indissolubly bound to the river of the same name. On this short break we will visit an old bodega, where we can taste some of the extraordinary locally produced wines.

After breakfast the next day there will be free time to continue exploring the most important places in the town. Despite its

small size, Puente Genil possesses a number of features of great artistic value, such as the Plaza Nacional overlooking the

river. Other buildings worth visiting are the Church of Santiago, which dates back to 1705, the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Purificación

and the Mudejar style Church of El Dulce Nombre de Jesús.

LUCENA, la ciudad de las Tres Culturas conocida también como "La Perla de Sefarad". En esta escapada deleitaremos nuestros sentidos con una cata profesional de aceite de oliva virgen extra, un producto imprescindible en estas tierras, conociendo las técnicas de elaboración de este "oro líquido" en un molino en uso. También visitaremos uno de los alfares con más solera de la ciudad, donde esta profesión tuvo y tiene una vital importancia desde tiempos remotos.

En el segundo día se recomienda visitar el Santuario de la Virgen de Araceli, patrona de Lucena y del campo Andaluz, situado a unos 6 km. de Lucena, desde donde podrá disfrutar de unas hermosas vistas.

OSUNA

2 DÍAS/1 NOCHE

En la campiña Sevillana, se levanta imponente la ciudad de OSUNA. Una bella Villa Ducal cuyo recorrido le hará comprender porqué es uno de los municipios con mayor riqueza patrimonial, con un inmenso legado histórico y cultural. En esta escapada además de conocer la Insigne Iglesia Colegial le incluimos una cena degustación para conocer más de cerca y con calidad la gastronomía del lugar.

Al día siguiente desayuno y mañana libre para seguir conociendo esta Villa Ducal. Adéntrese en sus calles, piérdase y de un relajante paseo conociendo sus villas y palacios.

PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

Conocida como la “ciudad del agua” por la multitud de manantiales que brotan en su entorno y “Joya del Barroco Cordobés” por el número de construcciones de estilo barroco que posee. Os proponemos una visita guiada por el casco histórico de PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA para conocer esta bella ciudad a través de sus calles, sus plazas, iglesias, el adarve, el barrio medieval, las fuentes…finalizando dicha visita con una degustación de productos típicos de la zona.

Al día siguiente, desayuno y visita de un olivar y almazara donde se podrá realizar una cata de aceite de oliva virgen extra, cuya Denominación de Origen es una de las más importantes a nivel nacional.

PUENTE GENIL, municipio de la provincia de Córdoba, forma parte de la Campiña Sur Cordobesa. Conocida por sus vinos tintos, su entorno está marcado por la presencia del río del mismo nombre. Durante esta escapada visitaremos una antigua bodega donde poder degustar los extraordinarios caldos que aquí se producen.

Al día siguiente, desayuno y tiempo libre para seguir conociendo los lugares más representativos ya que a pesar de ser una localidad de corta trayectoria contiene algunos detalles artísticos de valor como la Plaza Nacional con vistas al río. También destacan la Iglesia de Santiago, que data de 1705, la de Nuestra Señora de la Purificación, o la del Dulce Nombre de Jesús, de estilo mudéjar.

CULTURAL AND GASTRONOMIC SHORT BREAKS:ALCALA LA REAL/PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA

3 DAYS/1 NIGHT

Our tour begins at the scheduled time and place with a visit to the town of Priego de Cordoba, the cradle of Andalusian Baroque. Setting out from the door of the Town Hall, we make for the "Adolfo Lozano Sidro" Museum. There we will meet a local guide who will take us to the most emblematic

places of the city.

After the tour there will be a tasting session of delicious local products: "fino" wine, two types of extra virgin olive oil, bread,

olive jam, olive pâté, "regañá" ( a kind of thin crispy bread), mashed olives, "turrolate" (an almond based sweet), quince jelly ...

After the tasting session, lunch at a restaurant.

In the afternoon the visit continues at the very original Museum of Mushrooms and Truffles, Europe’s leading Mushroom Garden. This is the only Garden dedicated to mushrooms and truffles in Andalusia.

After the visit we head for the hotel. Overnight in Priego de Cordoba.

The next day we visit Alcalá la Real (Jaen province). We start in the old city centre, exploring the town’s most traditional streets,

its churches and historic houses, and finish the tour at the Abbey-Palace Archaeology Museum, which houses many items of great archaeological

value.

To get our breath back after the visit, we stop for lunch at a restaurant serving typical local cuisine.

We begin our last day visiting a traditional Cheese Factory. We could learn how cheeses are made and cured and enjoy a cheese tasting.

Then we continue to the vineyards and winery ‘Bodega Marcelino Serrano’ where we could enjoy tasting their wines.

ESCAPADA CULTURAL Y GASTRONÓMICA:ALCALÁ LA REAL/PRIEGO DE CORDOBA

3 DÍAS/2 NOCHES

A al hora y lugar indicado, comenzamos nuestra ruta con la visita a la localidad de PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA. En el museo "Adolfo Lozano Sidro", se presentara la guía local, quien nos mostrará los monumentos más emblemáticos de la ciudad.

Tras la visita disfrutaremos de una degustación de productos elaborados en la localidad y almorzaremos en restaurante.

Por la tarde, continuamos la visita al original museo micológico de la Trufa. Es el único jardín asociado a setas y trufas de toda Andalucía y el primer Jardín Micológico de Europa.

Una vez terminada esta visita nos dirigimos al hotel. Alojamiento.

Al día siguiente visitaremos ALCALÁ LA REAL (provincia de Jaén). Recorriendo su casco antiguo, conoceremos las calles con más solera, sus casas señoriales, sus iglesias y plazas, para finalizar en el Museo Arqueológico-Palacio Abacial que alberga numerosos hallazgos de gran valor arqueológico.

Tras la visita, almorzaremos en restaurante donde degustaremos los platos típicos alcalaínos.

Ya por la tarde, nos dirigimos al impresionante conjunto monumental fortificado de la FORTALEZA DE LA MOTA. En su Centro Interpretación de " La Vida en la Frontera" disfrutaremos de las recreaciones de espacio de esta noble ciudad medieval, así como una proyección audiovisual sobre la evolución de la ciudad.

Al finalizar la jornada, regreso al hotel y alojamiento.

Comenzamos nuestro último día visitando la fábrica de queso artesanal. Haremos un recorrido por sus instalaciones, para finalmente degustar una tabla de quesos.

Continuamos la excursión hacia La Bodega de Marcelino (entrada incluida), donde disfrutaremos degustando varios de sus vinos, acompañado de varios aperitivos también hechos en la zona.

Tras esta visita, almuerzo en restaurante y fin de la escapada.

DAY 1: (FRIDAY)

Arrival in the city and welcome from our host at the hotel reception, where you will be given information of interest.

DAY 2: (SATURDAY)

Breakfast followed by a guided tour of the city at 11:00. This walking tour takes in all the sights of the city, making our way up

through the old quarter past the cypress trees to the University and the Colegiata. Then we will visit the interior of the Cloistered Convent of La

Encarnación, residence of the Mercedarias nuns. This building dating from 1626 includes a Museum of Ceramics in the Seville Baroque

Style. We will also pass by Calle Sevilla and Calle San Pedro for a closer look at some of the city’s mansions. Our guide will explain the city’s history help you decide where to eat, have a drink or pass the time away.

After lunch we head for PUENTE GENIL, where you will be welcomed by our host at the hotel reception who will provide

you with information about our city.

DAY 3: (SUNDAY)

Breakfast and at 11.00 h a guided walking tour of the city, taking in the two best churches and a "cuartel" (the headquarters of one of the

religious brotherhoods). Holy Week in Puente Genil is a Festival of National Tourist Interest.

The visit to a "cuartel" in Puente Genil will immerse you in the world of Semana Santa at any time of year. The visit ends with a walk through some of the town’s most typical streets to take in the popular architecture.

Alternatively, we offer a visit to a bodega protected by the Montilla y Moriles denomination of origin, a D.O. which has

recently been extended to cover not only the wine but also the vinegar produced in the area.

Desayuno y a las 11.00 h. visita guiada a la ciudad donde te mostraremos las dos mejores iglesias y visita a una Casa Cuartel.

La Semana Santa de Puente Genil es Fiesta de Interés Nacional. En sus Casas-Cuartel, las Corporaciones Bíblicas hacen encuentros de saetas, poesías, música semana santeras, etc. La visita a un cuartel en Puente Genil, le acercará al mundo cofrade en cualquier época del año. Terminaremos con un recorrido por las calles más típicas.

Opcionalmente le ofreceremos la visita a una Bodega con D.O de Montilla y Moriles.
