an.
J.V.R
• Book - Books • Chair - Chairs • Box- Boxes • Church - Churches • Potato - Potatoes • Tomato - Tomatoes • Fly - Flies • Baby - Babies • Knife - Knives • Wolf - Wolves
J.V.R
o Pronombres personales o Pronombres posesivos o Pronombres demostrativos o Pronombres reflexivos o Pronombres interrogativos o Pronombres relativos o Pronombres indefinidos
J.V.R
Tenemos:
o Determinativos (posesivos, interrogativos, indefinidos, demostrativos). Ver "Palabras clave".
o Calificativos (anteceden y califican al nombre). Son invariantes en número y genero.
J.V.R
COMPARACIÓN DE IGUALDADSe utiliza la estructura as...as (tan como), y not as....as (no tan como):
Peter is as clever as Susan (Pedro es tan listo como Susana) This building is not as high as that one (Este edificio no es tan alto como
aquel)
My car is bigger than yours (Mi coche es ás grande que el tuyo) You are more stubborn than Mary (Eres más testarudo que María)
J.V.R
COMPARACIÓN DE INFERIORIDADPara ello se utiliza la estructura less...than:
She is less happy than Mary (Ella es menos feliz que María)
SUPERLATIVOSSe construye con la estructura the most:
This is the most beautiful dress (Este es el vestido más bonito)
J.V.R
ADVERBIOLos adverbios tienen como misión modificar el significado de:o Verbo: He works hard o Adjetivo: It was very cold o Adverbio: He runs very quickly
1. Modo2. Lugar3. Tiempo.
He spoke well at the debate this morning (El hablo bien en el debate esta mañana)
J.V.R
• No hacen uso del verbo to do (do, does, did) para formar interrogativas y
negativas. • No precisan to en su enunciación.
Los verbos modales más importantes son:
Can (could) - Be able to. Must May Will (would) Shall (should)
J.V.R
