noticias: la enfermera Teresa Serrano supera al Ébola. El protocolo se corrige de forma constante y se abren interrogantes de cual ha sido el tratamiento efectivo y cual será el protocolo más adecuado en el futuro.

De igual manera en US. Se corrige el protocolo, se toman medidas cada vez más restrictivas y adquiere una importancia capital “la trazabilidad” de la enfermedad. Saber donde y con quién ha estado el enfermo para evitar la propagación. Esta es la cuestión. Surgen disensiones en cuanto al derechos civiles, pero el virus no entiende de cuestiones jurídicas.

Añadimos otra cuestión, Cuarentena ¿si? ¿no?, un medida polémica en la vida civil y clara en la militar. Se debate en el Congreso los fallos de protocolo y el CDC corrige de manera continua el protocolo buscando el “protocolo perfecto” mientras el Ébola llega a la Mega-ciudad de Nueva York …

El impacto económico cada vez es mayor, la biotecnología adquiere mayor visibilidad como herramienta necesaria para desarrollar la vacuna a la que se unen cada vez un mayor número de laboratorios farmacéuticos trabajando en una carrera a contra-reloj para dotar de “armas terapéuticas” a los valientes médicos y voluntarios que trabajan en la “zona cero” de África Occidental. Científicos, militares y médicos civiles voluntarios necesitan material e inversión para contener la enfermedad y ayudar a los pacientes afectados.

La Biotecnología, la inversión publica y privada es lo que se necesita y es la solución.
