Extreme technology was developed and applied by its own Research & Development team, taking us to the forefront in the production of new slabs that guarantee unique design solutions.

Live green.

Fiandre is LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environ-mental Design), the system used to assess energy-environmental quality with the ultimate goal of high performance “green” buildings that respect nature. The company was also recently added to the list of members of the Green Building Council, testimony of its dedication to the values of environmental eco-sustainability. More than 70 Fiandre materials are made accord-ing to the parameters required for LEED certification, materials made using over 40% of recycled resources.The latest certificate issued by the ANAB, Association of sustainable architecture, has also acknowledged this dedication by including Fiandre materi-als in the list of products certified for green building. What’s more, UNESCO has offered the opportunity to join the circuit of UNESCO Heritage Italian cities with the common goal of work-ing to preserve the cultural heritage and landscape of our country.

SINCE 1965, A FAMILY COMPANY.

Three generations that share the same great passion: ceramics for design. A history of commitment and dedication, which began with Giuseppe Gambarelli, a pathfinder in this field, and was continued by his daughter, Ivana, by his son-in-law Mr Pozzi and by his grandsons.

Today, Gambarelli is a ceramic group that is renowned world-wide. Its products are distributed in over 50countries, thanks to modern production facilities established all over Italy. The “secret” behind this successlies in the cohesion of the Gambarelli family and in the ability to combine technology and research, designand tradition, which are the essential qualities needed to guarantee constant growth of the group.

The vocation on the Research of Gambarelli is attested by the several possessed patents : Metal Stone (the tile with metal appli-cations), Double face (the tile usable on both sides) and, most of all, Oxygena the first antibacterial and antismog tile that, thanks to the titanium dioxide it possess this characteristic from the2003.

In the 2009 an important corporate reorganization, set up the Gruppo Ceramiche Gambarelli Spa, includingon the sharehold-ing the brothers Pozzi, Finanziaria Senese di sviluppo (www.fises.it) and Fidotoscana (www.fiditoscana.it), merchant bank of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena.

The Ragno brand is one of the historic protagonists of the growth and success of the Italian ceramic tile industry all over the world.Ragno S.r.l. was incorporated in 1949 and in the ’60s and ‘70s the Ragno brand achieved unrivalled recognition with the pro-duction of glazed floor and wall tiles for various segments of the construction industry in Italy and internationally.

In the early ‘80s, the introduction of state-of-the-art automated production technologies went hand-in-hand with a redrawing of the sales and marketing strategies with an increasing orienta-tion towards the needs of the customer and the market, leading to development of a broad range of products in line with the consumer’s trends, styles and tastes. In 1989 Ceramiche Ragno S.p.A. was taken over by the Marazzi Group, and further to a merger in January 2006, Ceramiche Ragno S.p.A. was incorpo-rated in Marazzi Group S.p.A., while retaining its own strength as a commercial brand.

The Ragno offering features clearly defined, reliable solutions, with the ability to last over time and yet constantly evolving and renewing with consumers’ tastes: from porcelain to white-body single-fired materials and glass mosaic, for indoor and outdoor floor and wall coverings. Ragno offers a complete, increasingly “specialised” range, which dialogues with the world of architec-tural design by means of modular, flexible solutions for covering the universe of the home and much, much more.

La provincia de Castellón, conocida por la calidad de sus arcillas y la tradición cerámica de sus gentes, ha convivido histórica-mente con la cultura de la tierra cocida y la loza esmaltada. De esta tradición y actividad artesanal y en este lugar se inicia en 1967 Taulell S.A. en el término municipal de su capital, Castel-lón de la Plana.

En una década importante, los años 60, en el ecuador del siglo XX, en unos tiempos de nuestra civilización donde la técnica era capaz de alcanzar metas imposibles como la conquista espacial, Taulell se constituyó, como una Asociación de Empresas.

Los creadores fueron emprendedores de cinco sociedades de gran raigambre en el mundo de la cerámica, con un equipo de gestión profesional.

El fin fue el abastecerse de bizcochado cerámico para el proceso de fabricación por bicocción, imperante en el azulejo esmaltado. La empresa nació innovando, y utilizando en su proceso produc-tivo los primeros hornos túneles que sustituirían al tradicional y artesanal horno árabe.

El desarrollo industrial hizo que se alcanzase una gran produc-ción de bizcochado cerámico convirtiéndose en el primer fabri-cante de Europa.
