• Plan and execute grand opening event for Apex ReStore

• Create long term community partnerships

Purpose• Develop leadership and project

management skills

• Build relationships within the community to enhance our mission and image into the social fabric

Actions – Apex Grand Opening

• Worked with community to obtain sponsors and entertainment for the event

• Managed communications with Media Relations, Store Manager, and Store Director

• Staffed and managed volunteers to execute grand opening memory

Results – Grand Opening • Apex ReStore exceeded sales by doubling

their goal for the day!

• As merchandise was sold, donations were coming in all day
