Formamos el presente perfecto progresivo (a veces llamado el "presente perfecto continuo") con que / ha + sido + verbo principal de ING. Usamos este tiempo para hablar de una acción en curso que se inició en el pasado, todavía está en proceso, y puede continuar en el futuro.

Por ejemplo, usted podría decir: "He estado pensando en conseguir un coche nuevo durante semanas." En primer lugar, pensar en conseguir hace unas semanas coche nuevo, que estás pensando en conseguir uno, ya menos que comprar uno o decidir no comprar una ahora mismo, usted seguirá pensando en ello.

Se denominan irregulares porque no siguen una regla determinada para construir su pasado por lo que deben estudiarse de memoria. Veremos que en la columna central se encuentra el infinitivo y el presente, ambos tienen la misma forma salvo que el infinitivo va precedido por la partícula TO.

WILL/GOING TO The Simple Future has two different forms in

English: "will" and "be going to." Although the two forms can sometimes be used interchangeably, they often express two very different meanings as mentioned before.

OTHER WAYS OF EXPRESSING THE FUTURE The simple present and present progressive are also used to express future time. These are often used used in connection with schedules.

The train leaves at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.She is meeting a new client at six o’clock in the evening and she is travelling by byke through the forest.

FUTURE PROGRESSIVEThis tense is used to describe an event or action that will occur over a period of time at a specific point in the future.

They will be sailing in the Atlantic ocean by the time you arrive at the Island.

This tense is used to describe an event or action that will be completed before another event or time in the future.

We will have finished the exam by the time class ends tomorrow.
