Ingredients:
1 cup (125g) flour 3/4 cup (150g) sugar 1/2 cup curd 1/2 cup (115g) butter/malai 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp soda-bi-carbonate 4-5 tbsp milk 3 tbsp coco powder
STEPS:1.Grease a microwave safe round cake
dish.
2.Sieve flour, coco powder, soda-bi-carbonate and baking powder in a
bowl.
3.Beat curd, butter and sugar, till fluffy and creamy. Mix sieved flour mixture with beaten sugar mixture. Add milk and mix it gradually.
4.Pour cake batter in the greased microwave safe cake dish. Microwave for 7-8 min. at 60% power. Then microwave at 100% for 1 minute.
5. Cool for 10 min. Garnish with your favorite icing.
TIPS: Always fill the cake dish to 3/4 to allow space for
cake to rise. Do not cover while microwaving a cake. The microwaved cake may appear wet and undone
when removed from the microwave. Allow to stand for five min. It will turn dry on standing.
Always remember to grease the base of the microwave properly otherwise the chocolate cake has chances of sticking onto the inside of the microwave.
