OPORTUNIDAD- No hacerlo demasiado pronto; no se apresure ausar un TPI.El individuo necesita TIEMPOpara oxigenarse antes de estar listo para

resolver el problema. Primero deje que cesen las emociones y lastensiones.

El Equipo de Negociacin necesita TIEMPOpara desarrollar lainformacin de inteligencia esencial.

TIMING- Not too early; don't rush to use a TPISubject needs TIME to ventilate before he will be ready toproblem solve. Allow the emotion and tension to subside first.

Negotiation Team needs TIME to develop essential intelligence.

USO EFICAZ DE LOS TPIEFFECTIVE USE OF TPIs

Un estmulo(recompensa) para salir del lugar de la crisisPodra ser ms fcil y /o ms aceptable culturalmente para el

individuo entregarse a un TPI en vez de hacerlo a losencargados con funcin de polica.

El entregarse a los encargados de hacer cumplir la ley podraparecer como una capitulacin total.

A stimulus(reward) for exiting the crisis siteIt may be easier and / or more culturally acceptable for the subject

to surrender to a TPI rather than law enforcement.Surrender to law enforcement may seem like total capitulation.
