Nostalgiaremembering the past and shooting with slow lm

Nostalgia is a wistful or excessively sentimental yearning for a return to some past peYou will use 100 ISO lm shot at 50 ISO and then develop it shorter, a method ca

pulling lm, in order to explore people and places that evoke a sense of longingmemory. This lm is slow, like memory. It is less sensitive to light, it has small graigives you a wide range of light values - like the softness of reminiscing. It produces details like those within our memories.

- TIPS - Make sure to change your cameras ISO to 50

(some cameras will set it for you, but check)

You will not get deep black values or highcontrast, so make sure you have good light

It is imperative you light meter correctly asyour photos will easily look very gray if you donot.

This emulsion is 3 stops less sensitive to lightthen 400 ISO lm, therefore if you normallyhave an exposure of /11 and 250 forafternoon sun, your meter will read /4 and250. You will need sunlight and probably wontbe able to shoot indoors.

You should evoke a sense of light and time ofday or season in your work as this is directlyconnected to memory
