Simply To Go By: Joshua Jerkins, Michael Mukes, James Toon

What?Simply To Go is “drive-thru for the cafeteria”

Place where you get food instead of going to the actual cafe

They serve entrees, sandwiches/wraps, chips and drinks

All paid with a swipe of your AGGIE ONE CARD!!!

SIMPLE RIGHT!?!

Why?They have a huge customer base since most students are always in a hurry and they go there to eat

Also most students say that they should improve their quality

DMAICDefineMeasureAnalyzeImproveControl

To help define the problemUsed a survey, which the main question was what do you think could improve Simply?

We also created a video of us asking students what would you rate the quality of Simply?

ResultsUsing our video and survey we have discovered three major problems with Simply To Go.Not enough space.Needs more variety of food.Line is consistently too long.

AnalyzeFactors Contributing

to Long Lines

Long Lines

Serving Time

One Server

One Drink Machine

One Line

One Register

Small Space

Not much to analyze proof is here:Monday same time

Friday

ImproveThe biggest thing we can fix is finding a bigger location. Then we could add a register, server, and drink machine. This will allow a second line, drastically cutting down wait times and making the lines move faster.

ControlWith the added line, we can maintain shorter lines, shorter wait times, and would be able to serve customers faster.
